Hi, I’m Gala.
Born in Belgrade, lived in NYC, then landed in Dubai in 2014 as a flight attendant. Sounds glamorous, right? Well… not for my hair.
Between PCOS, jet lag, night flights, non-stop AC, sun, and Dubai’s water, my hair was falling out faster than luggage during turbulence!
So, I started experimenting.
Recipes from friends around the world, herbs from the little village of Vlasina in Serbia, oils from Africa… I basically became a kitchen chemist with a cabin-crew audience. At first, it was just me. Then friends. Then friends of friends. Soon I was making 100 bottles a month — all by hand.
Then came the turning point. My then-boyfriend (now husband) Nikola got his back injured, so with stress, steroid shots, and genetics — hello hair loss. I handed him one of my serums, praying it might work on male baldness. A month later… baby hair everywhere! Even he couldn’t believe it.
That’s when Nola was born. (Nola = Nikola + Gala… also that's the name of our baby girl ). He pushed me to turn this into a business, even gave me his favorite old leather wallet with a $2 bill for luck. Still have it today. Do I drive him crazy with my obsession with every tiny detail? Absolutely. Does he regret joining me instead of becoming a pilot? Probably

We started small — 200 bottles, sold overnight (mostly to desperate flight attendants). We labeled, packed, and delivered everything ourselves until one day… I totaled our car after 14 hours of deliveries. Lesson learned: outsourcing exists for a reason.
Fast forward: today, we’ve grown into a niche eco-luxury brand that sells thousands of units to a community of 35,000 loyal clients across the Middle East. Our products are crafted in a high-tech lab under the strictest standards, but still filled with the same love as in our living room days. Cabin crew still spread the word — because when your hair starts growing back, you tell everyone.
